I’m Goldie, known in the production world as Kodak Jonez — a Hip Hop artist, producer, and engineer with a legacy that started in 1985 and continues to evolve through Up Your Game Entertainment (UYGE). I’ve lived this culture from both sides of the mic, and everything I create is built on authenticity, experience, and a genuine love for the craft.

I began rapping in 1985, long before digital studios and social media changed the industry. Back then, I was simply Goldie — an emcee writing verses, battling, performing, and learning the raw fundamentals of Hip Hop. That foundation shaped how I approach music to this day.

Over time, finding high-quality beats and reliable producers became a challenge. Instead of letting that slow my momentum, I made a choice that would define the next chapter of my career:
In 2005, I started producing my own music.

That evolution gave birth to Kodak Jonez — the producer side of me. And from that journey, Up Your Game Entertainment (UYGE) was created.
